Characteristics and Flavor
Appearance: The berries are large and blue-black or purple in color, growing in tight, full clusters. The vine itself has attractive, large leaves and can be used as an ornamental landscape plant.
Texture and Skin: They have a snappy, firm texture and a thicker skin, which helps them resist cracking and store well.
Flavor Profile: The flavor is a rich, sweet blend of muscat and Vitis labrusca notes, sometimes described as having hints of honey and apricot. While largely seedless, they may occasionally have a small, noticeable seed trace.
Ripening: An early-ripening variety, the grapes typically mature in August or early September, often all at once.
